Head Coach Mike Conway of North Park University Chicago, Illinois visits Guam to recruit Guamanian Athletes

We would like to invite you at the event at Wyndham Garden Guam, Maga’lahi Conference Room at 12:00 noon on the 24th of January 2018. The keynote speaker will be Coach Mike Conway, Head Football Coach of North Park University, Chicago Illinois and Matthew Martin, General Manager of Days Inn Tamuning & Wyndham Garden Guam will be hosting the event.

We are excited to announce that the Guam Tackle Football Coaches Association, has precured an on-island recruitment visit from Head Football Coach Mike Conway of North Park University in Chicago, Illinois. We are proud to provide all of the Guamanian Highschool athletes the opportunity to advance academically and athletically through such a great University. We want to welcome him with open arms and the Hafa Adai Spirit! We are truly thrilled and motivated to be pioneers of this program. We ask all of you to join and promote the off-island collegiate opportunities that are being given due to this event.

Coach Conway will be actively recruiting Guam athletes from all high schools to include the family members of all military service members stationed here in Guam as well as participating in a college combine open to all Public and Private Schools at Guam High on January 24th Wednesday at these times:

4:00pm ~ 5:00pm Rising 9th grade and Highschool Underclassmen Combine
5:30pm ~ 6:45pm Elite Combine (By Invite only, Highschool Seniors)

Our hope is this exposure will lead to opportunities for all students for lifetimes to come.

We congratulate Coach Dowdell, all students, teachers, coaches and parents that have facilitated this opportunity for our children to advance their collegiate dreams.

On behalf of Wyndham Garden Guam, we are excited and proud to hold the 1st Press Conference event to be held in support of a University from the United States mainland reaching out to our Guam athletes. However, we are even more elated about the scholarship opportunity that will allow them to come back and contribute to the Guam community.

We invite all to come and experience this momentous event that will set the standard for years to come. We fully anticipate a great outcome that will set Guam atop the leader board for athletic recruitment in the Marianas for the United States.
